Judy became Interim Executive Director of ACCET in 2019, after serving in senior management for 12 years. Previously, she was the Associate Director of two ACCET- accredited schools and Director at the Maryland Higher Education Commission.

Scott is Senior Accreditation Coordinator, with over 20 years of experience at ACCET, and prior to his tenure at this agency, worked at vocational and IEP schools in the US and internationally. He holds an MS in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University.

Res has been a Senior Accreditation Coordinator with ACCET since 2019. He used to own a language school for over 20 years before moving to Washington DC. Res also served on the ACCET Accrediting Commission for eight years.

Kaitlyn is ACCET’s Administrative Assistant & Database Liaison and is the newest member of ACCET’s Initial Applications team. She has a BA in Anthropology and two years of nonprofit administrative experience.
Caroline is an Administrative Assistant at ACCET and is new to the team. She recently received her bachelor’s degree in American Studies
Carol is an outside Commission Representative with ACCET and has been with the organization on a part-time basis since 2013. She retired from the Commonwealth of Virginia, where she worked for both the Department of Education and the State Council of Higher Education.
George has been a Commission Representative for 11 years and was a past ACCET Commissioner. He has directed seven ESL programs in the U.S. and Iran over the past 50 years.
Lisa is an outside Commission Representative. She has worked for several ACCET-accredited institutions in her 20+ years working in education. She has served as a peer volunteer on many ACCET visits.
Jeff is an ACCET outside Commission Rep, with over 30 years experience in ESL and a focus on administration and student services, as well as business development and strategic management
Janice is a new Commission Representative. She was a regional manager and IDL curriculum designer for an ACCET school, then an IDL curriculum consultant until her retirement. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Literature, and a certificate in Paralegal Studies.
For thirty years, Sandy has Chaired ACCET’s Annual Conferences. This annual conference is her last!!! She expresses her deepest gratitude to all who have worked with her over these three decades to make the conferences meaningful, especially her co-chair Darlene Foret, Cristina Rodarte, Judy Hendrickson and all those in the present and past who contributed to the success of our conferences. Please join us in congratulating Sandy and wishing her a Happy Retirement!!
Darlene has over 29 years of experience in private, postsecondary career education. She has extensive experience in campus operations, regulatory compliance, and academic services. Darlene has held various positions over the years with IEC, most recently as the VP of Accreditation and Licensure. She earned her Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.
